Questions....

[slm] everyone  ;)

some questions have been lingering to my mind for a while i hope you guys can help...

on the day of ressurection, will we be able to be with our families when everything is determined.....?  ???

if u have done sins in the past and you have asked allah swt to forgive your sins, will you be questioned about them on the day of ressurection in front of all the angels and prophets? (peace and blessings be upon them) and sometimes when shaitaan reminds you of what you did u break into tears while making duwah after prayers and ask for forgiveness?

what if were not able to help with charities, and the homeless, and the sick, etc as we should do to please allah swt, if we do dhikers for instance; "subhanallah wabi-hamdihi" or "subhanallah" 100x is it counted for us as having the same reward as someone who has actually done charities, fed the poor, sick, etc?

i hope my questions make sense to you guys, and inshallah, i cant wait to read your responses..

jazakar-allahu khairen!

your sis

question:
on the day of ressurection, will we be able to be with our families when everything is determined

Asns)YES! cause when we will be given our ammaal nama s in our hands, there is a verse in quran which testifies that we will return to our families!

After determination of Everything , the clamity for the hell people will be the seperation from families while for the jannah people the happiness of being with the family will be one fo the rewards. given the circumstances that our love towards families will not be the same on that day!

Some stuff will not be counted again. for sure, instead according to mother ayesha r.a there will be people who will be dealt with superfical accounting, hisaban yaseera and according to Molla Ali r.a some people will be dealt in booths or with covers , and will be granted Allahs will in privacy!

Hence those sins upon whom one has asked forgivenss and done tauba, and never committed again will not be inshallah asked again. Inshalah!

your question:what if were not able to help with charities, and the homeless, and the sick, etc as we should do to please allah SubHana Wa Ta`ala, if we do dhikers for instance; "subhanallah wabi-hamdihi" or "subhanallah" 100x is it counted for us as having the same reward as someone who has actually done charities, fed the poor, sick, etc?

Ans)
One has to understand that, shariah has a vectorial concept of "umbrella" now, charity, alms, social welfare on the maximum level is for the "rich" while what can poor like me and you shall do, well for them the reward is in the strechihg of the umbrella of the shariat to cover us as well and it is recomended that we do the praise of Allah, this zikr is in the Fazail of the ammal for barakah......

Hence on a virtual level it is correct that if one can do all the financial help well and good if not we all shall at least have the environment of "social welfare" in each and every person of the Islamic body!

Hope my answers wont cause any further issues of confusions.

If you need to look into works or books, you can do a seach for issues of zakat and issues of fazail in any books from any writer, either shia or sunni, cause both agree on the issues of humanity!

The Prophet (SAW) said something like this : "Allah SWT will hide everyone's sins except those who talk openly about them".  Meaning if you do a sin, then repent, and then don't "brag" about it, Allah SWT will hide that sin on the day of Judgement. And also "If you hide faults in other people, Allah SWT will hide your faults on the Day of Judgement".

Mashallah, anyone who does this should be happy! The Prohet SAW said that one of the types of people who will be in the shade of Allah SWT are those who remember himn and start crying.

Yes.  The Prohet SAW told us about the dhikr after salah when some poor people asked him how they could get the same reward as the rich who give away thier money.  He replied that they could get the same reward by saying Subhanallah 33 times, Alhamdolillah 33 times, and Allah Ho Akbar 34 times after salah.

And in another hadith, he sadi that every Subhannalah, Alhamdolillah and Allah Ho Akbar is a charity.

Tafseer Surat Al-Qaari'ah

By Muhammad Alshareef

Just like we say, Yawm Al-Qiyaamah (the Day of Resurrection), Al-Qaari'ah is also a name for this horrific day. Qaari'ah means to strike something with an intense pounding. For this reason, many translators have chosen to explain this name Al-Qaari'ah in English as the Striking Day.

The theme of this Surah is only one: the end of the world as we know it. As we read this Surah, Allah ta'ala gives us a small peek at what horror awaits humanity on this day. When one sincerely recites this Surah, the question that will repeat itself again and again shall be: how distracted have we let ourselves become?

Just look out the window and you will see oceans of people letting their life pass them by in oblivion of the nearing apocalypse. When someone comes to our door and starts pounding aggressively on it, we most likely will be taken by surprise and jump out of our seats to get ready. In fact, in Arabic it's said: Qara' al-Baab (note the same root as Qaari'ah), to mean 'he pounded on the door'. May Allah protect us from being taken by surprise with no deeds ready for this striking.

In verse three, Allah ta'ala - before giving us a small peak at the horror that awaits - says: [And what will make you know what the striking hour is?] There is nothing, absolutely nothing that would make us understand the horror we will taste on this day. The glance that we are getting in the next verses is simply a warning. Let us take heed dear brothers and sisters, for the warning has been given.

[It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about / And the mountains will be like carded wool]

Now think about this: If one's scale is heavy on the Striking day, where would one end up - heaven or hell? Hmm? a heavy scale? Most people will answer that that person will be in Hell. It seems that we are programmed to just think about abstaining from bad deeds, but the message of striving to do good isn't so pronounced.

Allah ta'ala says: [Then as for him whose balance will be heavy / He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise)]

Narrated Abu Hurayrah - radi Allaahu 'anhu - the Prophet, sal Allaahu alayhi wa sallam, said, "(There are) two words which are dear to Ar-Rahmaan, easy upon the tongue to pronounce, (which shall weigh) heavy on the scale. They are: Subhaan Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhaan Allaahi al-Adheem." - Bukhari

Subhaan Allah: Exalted be Allah over all that is falsely ascribed to him
Wa bihamdihi: and all thanks and praise belongs to Allah.

Subhaan Allah: Exalted be Allah over all that is falsely ascribed to him
Al-Adheem: (Allah) the Greatest.

From today, let us make it a part of our daily habit to frequently say this:
Subhaan Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhaan Allaahi al-Adheem. Allah loves it and it's easy to say. And because of it, perhaps on this Striking day our scales will weigh down - in our favor.

jazakallah for the beautiful article by Muhammad al Shareef! I especially like listening to his lectures. I bought 2 cd's at isna, how to be a good wife and how to be a good husband, that were both excellent, mashallah. Is there any way to find more of his lectures online? either in a written format or audio?
