A tale of two cities

Since the war started, my dad has embraced the channel surfing culture. CNN, BBC, MSNBC, CNA etc.  This habit is naturally bad for my eyeballs but good for his fingers  ;D

On one occasion, I actually had a lapsed of good judgement and sat down at the sofa to go channel surfing with him.  We paused at CNN for a bit because there was a filming of the toppling of Saddam's statue.  Now, I could have sworn that I saw AMERICAN troops (or some coalition soldiers) tied ropes to their tanks and pulled the statue down.

Few days later, someone who is pro-war posted something at another message board.  In it, there was the same picture of the same statue being toppled but in this case, it was the Iraqis who pulled the ropes.

Can someone confirm with me ?  Are we watching the same CNN ? Or is this just another bad attempt to justify a war Iraqis don't want ?

Wassalam.
