[slm] Not sure whether I should just use one thread for these poems...oh well... ::) [wlm] ************************************************************ Awareness Your heart is like fire Resting on ice The need is dire For your sun to rise Abandoned and tired I can hear your cries While your heart on thin ice Still lazily lies Still wastefully dies Dark clouds shading Your sun, it's fading Your love abating Becoming jaded It's not your fault It's now raining Your tears baiting Again your soul - Electric storm... Bolts crossing your sky Bolts torture your mind Bolts locking your heart With a familiar dark Metalic sound Holding on your love But left alone and stark Bolt upright and proud Lost but somehow found You had to fight and fight In clouds of thoughts to hide Into your dark grey plight... But you knew it was right The storm is now over By a bolt your soul was found And you saw the wound And you knew it died And you cried and cried But light and darkness conspired They brought the truth to the fore And you cried no more.
