anybody notice that people have started claiming that the Poincare Conjecture is about to be proven ([u]Poincare Conecture: [/u]  that the only  simply connected 3-dimensional topological manifold is the 3-dimensional sphere (i think)) (....yes i know what you are thinking....i am a geek....but if you prove the conjecture you win 1 million dollars :) ) http://www.nytimes.com/2003/04/15/science/15MATH.html
