Salaams,

Which part of the prophet  [saw] life gives you most hope when you read it? Could it be the persecution at Taif and having patience or fighting in the battle of Khandaq and having complete relieance on Allah ?

Just intrigued...

Riding into Makkah with his head bowed after everything that had happenned.
That gives me hope because it would have seemed impossible.

it has to be after taif with the revelation of these verses, "Verily, with every difficulty, there is relief; verily, with every difficulty, there is relief." at a time when everythin was goin against Rasulullah [saw]. there is no greater comfort than the Rabb telling you that better times are ahead.

Definately Taif. Despite the people throwing rocks at him to where the blood gathered in his shoes, he did not hurl abuse back at them. When he sought refuge from the mob in a garden, his moving prayer to Allah did not call for revenge but simply help. And when  Allah sent the Angel of the Mountains who said that if the Prophet (S) wished, he (the Angel) could crush the people of Taif, the Prophet (S) chose to forgive them.

[slm],

The time when Prophet  [saw] was preparing to leave Makkah for Madinah and the kuffar had surrounded his home, and then inside the cave when they came close to the cave where Abu Bakr (ra) and Rasul Allah [saw] were hiding and they couldn't find them.

Assalamu alaikum
I don't know which part of his life gives me the most hope, but one part is after he was rejected by Quraish and by Taif, the same year that his uncle and beloved Khadija died, a year so difficult for him (S) that they called it the year of sadness, Allah wanted to show him that though he was treated badly on earth, his place in the heavens was great, and so he (S) was taken on the Israa, where he led all the Prophets in prayer, and the Mi3raaj, where he was allowed to go past the Sidratul Muntaha, a place where not even Jibreel alayhi assalam was allowed to go....

"O Allâh! To You alone I make complaint of my helplessness, the paucity of my
resources and my insignificance before mankind. You are the most Merciful of the
mercifuls. You are the Lord of the helpless and the weak, O Lord of mine! Into whose hands would
You abandon me: into the hands of an unsympathetic distant relative who would sullenly
frown at me, or to the enemy who has been given control over my affairs? But if Your wrath
does not fall on me, there is nothing for me to worry about."

"I seek protection in the light of Your Countenance, which illuminates the heavens and
dispels darkness, and which controls all affairs in this world as well as in the Hereafter.
May it never be that I should incur Your wrath, or that You should be wrathful to me. And
there is no power nor resource, but Yours alone."
