| [slm] I am having problems trying to post. After I log in and try to reply to a post, I receive a notice that I have to be registered or logged in to post. I found that if I log out, then log in again, it is good for one post. I can't modify or reply after that. Not that I post that much, but I was trying to reply to the "search feature" topic and had great difficulty yesterday, and couldn't reply again today. I think this problem was common when the new board first opened, but don't know why this is happening again. |

| [wlm] hmm are you putting in any numbers in the login spaces? Are cookies enabled on your computer? Are you using any firewall software that blocks cookies like being in a public user room? Try having "Always stay logged in:" checked if you don't already and have your browser's cookie security setting set low. You can add jannah.org to be one of your trusted sites also. Maybe you could even try deleting all your cookies and emptying your cache and starting over.. when the system is overtaxed/posting i notice it gives a 'subject needs to be filled out' error.. but if it's 'u have to be registered or logged in' that's something to do with your local system... we never have been able to figure out why that is.. CaraJ also has that problem sometimes so maybe try those things and let us know if anything helped inshaAllah... |

| [slm] Sometimes if there is too much load on the server, weird messages like that appear. So just retry that page again, it usually works after a few times. |

| [slm] The thing that was/is strange is that I didn't have that problem before, and I haven't changed any of my security settings lately. No numbers in the login spaces. I can log in, just have trouble posting, or modifying a post. I did the "dump the cookies and delete files" move the other day, but it only helped for one post. It may be that brother Bhaloo is right, but I tried up to ten times yesterday. Anyway, I can deal with logging out, logging back in until I can figure out what happened. I just have learned to copy what I write, then paste it in when I log back in. :) p.s. It seems the "always stayed logged in" check has done the job. I have posted two times in a row and was able to modify this too. I always checked that off before. Jazakum Allahu khairan. |
