| salam; a friend of mine is working in a big restaurant and he sometimes have to touch pork meat (ham ecc..); (but of course he doesn’t eat it); he was unsure wether he should do ghusl after everytime he touches pork meat or is it sufficient to do wudu? |

| I can't substiate it with a verse from the Holy Qu'ran right now but it is HARAM regardless of its being a livelyhood my dear Dude!. Selling it is HARAM. [wlm] Halima |

| [slm] Usually when you deal with food you always have to wash your hands afterwords (and you should before too) ofcourse. I dont think you have to ghusl just b/c its meat that is not halal for us to eat. Some people have a misconception that we are not aloud to touch pigs or pigs are bad. This is not true, the only thing is that you cant eat it. All animals are to be treated kindly. on the other hand selling it is haram. Which is common sense. Allah (swt) did not make pig lawful for us to eat. us meaning anyone, so you are helping someone else committ wrong. and Allah (swt) knows best |
