| [slm] How are you all doing? Inshallah fine. As for me, i am not feeling good at all. :( :'( My niece is sooo sick. :'( she is vomiting over and over again. Withing 12 hours she probabley vomitted atleast 20 times. Right now her temperature is rising. I don't know what to do! Its one thing if she was older. She is only One and half years old. How can i help her? What should i do? How will she stop throwing up? She won't eat anything...absolutly nothing. If she drinks water or Predialyte (for vomitting) she throws up. Nothing stays in her stomach. Its so scary when she throws up...its like everything from inside is gonna come out. O sisters please give me some advice...I am sure some of you are here who are mothers. You guys probably know how to help. I am sooo scared about her. :( -Heart broken sis [wlm] |

| [wlm] Can you call a doctor or something? Maybe you should take her to the emergency room. It sounds serious. |

| assalamu alaikum call 911 NOW. the baby is likely to become dehydrated if this continues. if you can take her to emerg DO so quick. they need to put her on IV soon. wassalam |

| Wasalaa, Sister take her to the hospital, my son had this and had to have an IV and medication. Let us all know how she is. Insha ALLAH we will all make du'a for her. Masalaama Sister Emily |

| I agree with the other sisters. A trip to the emergency room would be definately worth the time with all the new sicknesses going around. I will perform Dua also for her. Just keep your head and try not to panic. That's what I used to do when Khalida was a baby. Yasmeena |

| [slm] Jazakallahu kheiran for your replies sisters. I didn't take her to hospital cuz later she drank some Pedialyte and juice... and any doctor would advice for her to drink pedialyte...thats a basic medecine for this kind of sickness. When we take her to the doctors they don't really help. Where i live its so hard to find a good doctor who cares about you instead of ur money :( what a world we live at right now. She is always like this, so fragile...hardly eats even when she isn't sick. Its so hard to raise children like that. Its good that i am still not a mother!! I see how trouble my sister goes through. I need to gather a lot more patience before anything happens. :) Inshallah she is going to be fine. Please make duaa for her. Right now i really wish that she would eat some hard food to stay in her stomach. :( May Allah (swt) help us all and our children as well. ameen summah ameen. [wlm] |

If it hasn't been done already i *highly* recommend checking her for food allergies, especially gluten intolerance. It could be that the food she's eating is causing her problems and that's why she's refusing to eat and vomiting a lot. If that's the case then it could have some serious repercussions if not detected early. Because it's such a rare condition it's not easily diagnosed. I suggest taking her to a good gastroenterologist (a doctor who specializes in the digestive system) for diagnosis. She may not have any problems insh'Allah but better be safe. Wassalam |

| [slm] Hi. You know we should have taken her to the doctor or hospital before...:( My sister kept on saying that the doctors don't help...all they do is tell you to feed pedialyte! Thats why she didn't take my niece to the doctor...i think she got dehydrated. today, finally she is in the hospital. they are giving her IV. we are so scared :'( its all Allah (swt) wish. Things happen for the better...Inshallah my niece will be fine. btw, her name is Nafeesa :) Jazakallahu kheiran for the dua brother Abu Atheek. thank you a lot :) Thank you for the suggestion Mohja... i think it will be a good idea to take her to a gastroenterologist. | [slm] Thank you all again... My family and I really need your prayer. Right now the whole family got sick! :( My sister, brother, and niece. Alhumdulillah i am fine, but i don't feel good seeing everybody sick. :( I need to have lots of patience and need to take care all of them. Please pray for me. Ma salaama |

| [slm] May Allah (swt) cure your family of sickness and bring good health to your niece. Ameen your sis ~~~~~~~~ Plz make dua for my baby niece (cuzins daughter ) also. She has been in the hospital for four days in pakistan and they are very worried. I think its dehydration also. |
