Disrespect- - Help out Please?

Asalaam alaikum to all

i see a family who is being disrespected and not appreciatted and taken for granted, it
hurts me so bad to see this. i often cry with them as to why its happening. Sometimes I
feel like calling and asking the person (s) who are doing it, why?? what did they ever do
to u? It truly hurts me to see the one being hurt. they cry and becomes really depressed
when they think about it, or when they are reminded of it.  Is there an Ayat, or Hadith
that I can tell them, or duwah they can recite often? Allhamdullilah they ask allah swt for
sab'r <patience>. but I dont know....  When I see them cry or get hurt, I get soo
depressed with them, and i get mad.

they always say that their going to continue being nice even if they are mean

I just dont want them to be disrespected forever, and have people step all over them

sometimes i feel like that when someone is being mean, and the other person in return is
nice, the person being mean is making fun of the person being nice? does that make sense?
I hope you guys can help insha'allah

asalaam

This hadith seems to sum up the situation you are talking about :

The Prophet once asked his companions: "Do you know who is the
Bankrupt?" The companions said: a bankrupt man among us is the one who has neither dirham
with him nor wealth.
The Prophet said: The bankrupt of my Ummah is he who would come at the
Day of judgment with prayers, and fasting and Zakah; but who had offended one person ,
slandered another, unlawfully consumed the wealth of another person, shed the blood of
this person and beat that person.
Each one of these people would be given some of the wrongdoer’s
good deeds. If his good deeds fall short of settling the account, then their sins will be
taken from their account and entered into his account and he would be thrown in the Hell
Fire.
