| I am the poster and NOT the author, hence just sharing. A Nice Poem Side by Side [center]They lie on the table side by side [/center] [center]The Holy Quran and the T.V. Guide. [/center] [center]One is well worn and cherished with pride.[/center] [center]Not the Quran, but the T.V. Guide. [/center] [center]One is used daily to help folks decide. [/center] [center]Not the Quran, but the T.V. Guide. [/center] [center]As the pages are turned, what shall they see?[/center] [center]Oh, what does it matter, turn on the T.V. [/center] [center]So they open the book in which they confide.[/center] [center]No, not the Quran, but the T.V. Guide.[/center] [center]The Word of Allah is seldom read. [/center] [center]Maybe a verse before they fall into bed. [/center] [center]Exhausted and sleepy and tired as can be.[/center] [center]Not from reading the Quran, from watching T.V. [/center] [center]So then back to the table side by side,[/center] [center]Lie the Holy Quran and the T.V. Guide.[/center] [center]No time for prayer, no time for the Word,[/center] [center]The plan of Istiqama is seldom heard. [/center] [center]But forgiveness of sin, so full and free, [/center] [center]Is found in the Quran, not on T.V.[/center] -Take 60 seconds & give this a shot! Let's just see if Satan stops this one. All you do is - 1) say: A- Subhan Allah B- Alhamdolila C- Allaho Akbar D- La ilaha ila Allah Mohammed rasool Allah E- Allahoma sali aala sayidna Mohammed wa ala alihi Wasahbihi wasal'um |

| [slm] a poster by me too :) - just sharing The Little Things. Too often we don't realize what we have until it is gone; Too often we wait too late to say "I'm sorry - I was wrong." Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones we hold dearest to our hearts; And we allow foolish things to tear our lives apart. Far too many times we let unimportant things into our minds; And then it's usually too late to see what made us blind. So be sure that you let people know how much they mean to you; Take that time to say the words before your time is through. Be sure that you appreciate everything you've got And be thankful for the little things in life that mean a lot. | [slm] Ameen! Way too much rime is lost throughout the day anyway that could be spent reading the Qur'aan. Do we really need to waste so much time on t.v.? [wlm] |
