| As-salaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah, Does anyone know where the bigger masjids/Muslim communities are in Atlanta? A friend will be visiting there this wkd inshaa'Allah and is trying to locate the biggest masjid near or around Norcross (?). JazaakumAllahu khair. |

| [slm] I was in Atlanta for about 3 years as an undergrad. Mash'allah the muslim community there is pretty cool. If you are looking for a masjid in atlanta, then the biggest one is the 'Al Farooq Masjid' (http://www.alfarooqmasjid.org/) and is close to Georgia Tech. I've been to two Masajid's in Norcross as well and you can find the address using IslamicFinder.org http://www.islamicfinder.org/locate.php?ziporcity=30071&dist=10&start=0&state=&home=1 HTH. [wlm] |

| As-salaamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullah, Yeah, she did the Islamicfinder.com thing the last time she visited and ended up in a smaller masjid, not knowing which on the list were small/big. But I'll let her know Al-Farooq iA, jazaakAllahu khair. |
