| FREE General Islamic Shariah Lecture Series (June 7-13) Assalamu alaykum warhamtullahi wabaraktuh As with every year, the Mahad or the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Sciences in America (IIASA) has put together it's bi-annual General Shariah Lecture Series from June 7th - 13th. Topics that will be discussed at this lecture series include: * Tafseer of the Quran * Tajweed of the Quran * Fiqh of Family Law (Gender Rights, Gender Roles, Engagement, Marraige, Separation, Divorce) * Fiqh of Worships (Ibadat: Prayer, Fasting, Zakat, Hajj) * Fiqh of Dawah * Religious Extremism The lecture series will be held on June 7th - June 13. June 7th & 8th: Saturday & Sunday from 2pm - 8:30pm June 9th - 13th: Monday thru Friday from 6pm - 8:30pm English Scholars: --> Dr. Ahmad Turkistani --> Sh. Deiyaud Din Eberle --> Sh. This is an excellent opportunity for those of us that want to learn the basics of Islam as well as those of us that want to brush up on the principles of Islam. It is open to Muslims and non-Muslims alike.
