| Assalaamu alaikum, InshaAllah, I will be getting married first week of July (July 6 to be exact, which is like ... hmm just over a month away!). All praises are due to Allah swt, Who created us from a single soul, and created of like nature our mates. To be getting married is certainly a big thing in any person's life. It is exciting (I have been wanting to get married for ages :)), and it is a time for reflection on the past and the future, and a time for asking Allah's mercy and help, and a time for seeking people's forgiveness. Please forgive me if I ever transgressed any of your rights, little or large, knowingly or unknowingly. And, please make dua for me, my wife-to-be and our marriage :) Here is the deal: I will make dua for all of you inshaAllah. Agreed? Good! :) Wasalaam. |

| [slm] :-)Am I the only one here that wants more details? In this day and age of all different avenues to find a spouse, what worked for you? Like how did the two of you connect? What made you sure she was the 'right' one. :oDid you use any questions from Madinat's "THE LIST"? ;) What questions did she ask you? Were there any concerns/ what made you think you were ready for such a big step? have you been 'looking' for a long time or just woke up and said 'yep, i wanna be a married man' ;-) Is she of your same ethniticy? If not, was it a concern? Finally, can we crash the Wedding? :-* |
