| Peter Oborne's documentary Afghanistan: Here's One We Invaded Earlier will be shown on Channel 4 on Saturday 31 May at 20.05 George W Bush and Tony Blair promised to build a free and secure Afghanistan after the fall of the Taliban in 2001. Peter Oborne, political editor of The Spectator, travels to Afghanistan to discover whether they have fulfilled their pledge to the Afghan people. Judging from a recent article in The Observer http://www.observer.co.uk/review/story/0,6903,962905,00.html by Peter Oborne, this is likely to be a highly enlightening and critical analysis of the chaos created by British and American forces in the troubled nation of Afghanistan.
