| asalamu alaykum Does anyone have the problem of shiny skin? For example- especially at big occasions such as weddings, I do my makeup and everything, but soon my face gets all shiny, and believe me theres only so much u can powder ur nose and forehead and stuff... any ideas on what to do? wsalam |

| [wlm] A good finishing powder works well. Get one made for oily skin, for teenagers. There are some made with "corn silk" that work well. There are two types. Loose powder and pressed. I prefer loose. You must, must blend it well...other wise you will look like a "Pancake" face. You apply it after all make up is applied. |

| [slm] before putting the makeup on, take some ice in a bag and kinda like massage ur face with it...ice it i guess ??? make it REALLLLY cold ...FREEZE it ;D or soemthign like that...adn then start the makeup stuff..it helps with the melting of all those solvents down ur face ;) :-) altho i have the TOTAL opposite problem, my skin is dry as.....hay? (cldnt find a good analogy) so i use petroleum jelly on my face allll the time..and my thirst skin sucks it in. ::) |
