| [slm] all I came to know today that my Project Manager dint know few of the abbreviations that we use in official emails etc :), so i thought why not share with you ppl what i know and may be someone can add more to it. Before i put them here let me admit that when i started my first job i dint know most of these but i was shy/embarrassed enough not to ask n e one for the full form of these and the puzzle got solved with time :) here goes PFA = Please Find Attached (an attchment with any email) FYI = For your information COB = Close of business (end of day) SOB = Start of business ASAP = As soon as possible ... (this one really irks me, i mean there are more important things to do as well :) ) PS = Post Script and here are the thingies that i still dont know but asked my collegues about them just to see that blank look :P FNA ?! PSS ?! Is there anything else in the pandoras box :) ?? |
