| [slm] There was a sahabi called Owais bin Karni (rau) if anyone has any information about him? Since I have been trying and couldn't find much information on Internet. I'll appreciate if anyone can forward me a url or some other reference to any online source. [wlm] |

| [slm] he was not a sahabi! but he is given the title of a sahabi due to his love of Rasool Allah.. Abu Bakr and Umar r.a visited him after the death of RasoolAllah on the orders of rasoolAllah himself...... the main reason for him to have this level of respect is due to his love of Rasoolallah and in spirituality he was able to have seen rasoolalah in person...... What else would u like to know about him ? Mulla! |

| [slm] he used tyo live some where in yemen/syria he couldnt come and see the prophet [saw] cuaz he had to take care of his old mother/father Its believed that he had come to Madinah once but for a very short visit but the prophet [saw] was away so he had to leave From what I have hard Hazarath abu bakar umar and ali ra went to visit him with a garment of the prohet [saw] but again iam not too sure for it was ages back that I had heard his story in a friday khutbah so Allahu aalam [wlm] |

| [slm] Jazakallah Khair Thanks for the brothers who responded to my request I have also listened many stories about him, like when two teeth of Holy Prophet [saw] were got shaheed in Ghazwai uhud so he broke all of his teeth to follow the sunnah since he didn't know which two teeth of Holy Prophet [saw] were broken. What I have been looking for is some authentic details of his life. Or something like his biography, Just like as sister Jannah is posting about Hazrat Abu Baker, Umar, Uthman, Ali (RAU) and other sahabis. I also heard there are few hadiths about him but I couldn't find them so far. Once again thanks for the help and replies, I look forward for more information from my brothers and sisters. [wlm] |
