| [slm] i was wondering how old a mahrem needs to be to start taking on the responsibilities of a mahram..??? obviously this does not apply to fathers, but what about younger brothers (im the oldest of two brothers) is it puberty? when they are phsycial strong (to bash anyone hittin on me :P ) thanks wasalam nouha:) |

Mukhtar Maghraoui and Imam Djaffer in ur community, u should be putting these questions to them to get answers with good explanations. I don't think anyone else can explain it better than the imam of the mosque, specially people like Br. Mukhtar and Imam Djaffer. Young bros. and sisters not only need to know what puberty is but then they also need to know other things related to it like "Ghusl", how is it done, when should it be done, the faraid and sunnahs of ghusl and wudu etc. So, make use of the knowledgable people in ur community and try to benefit as much as u can from their knowledge.
