Hillary Clinton Book Details Husband’s Betrayal
Calvin Woodward & S. McDonough, AP

WASHINGTON, 5 June 2003 — Hillary Rodham Clinton says her husband’s relationship with Monica Lewinsky caused so much pain that, at one point, Buddy the dog was the only member of the family willing to keep President Clinton company.
And we have a good and faithful dog, Crystal, who lets us know if anyone is even close to our house.  Especially at night.  I used to get mad at her for waking me up at 2 or 3 a.m., BUT NOT ANYMORE!!!!
PS I have an English Mastiff you can borrow. He's only a puppy but he is already 161 lbs  and makes most  people step back very quickly.      Big head ... big teeth      Chest like a mac truck. And a bark that would frighten anyone.

I have 2 dogs but thank you for the offer of the loan of your mastif.  Crystal is a husky/lab mix.  She's 185# and very solidly built.  Nimmie is a springer spaniel/lab mix.  She is not very big, only 75# maximum, but she can clear our 4 foot fence to get at anything in our yard.  Both are fiercely loyal to "their people".  BTW - Crystal's bark is deep and LOUD!!  You can hear her for blocks at least when she gets going.

just a different perspective  :P

Yeah, they do tend to be a girls best friend too   :P
I am so thankful for all mine. I sure know what Yasmeena means by getting mad at them for barking at 2  or 3 am but not anymore.

We have 7 dogs and with hubby being gone for 10 months I feel so safe. My mastiff if not even full grown yet and is like  161 lbs. And I use to get mad at them all when they would wake me out of a sound sleep barking in the middle of the night. I don't get mad at them anymore, I am thankful they alert me of things I can't even hear.
My siberian husky's are quite protective of me but this one little 55 lbs rottie mix, well one time my husband came home he was joking and was trying to get me to dance with him, gosh that dog went nuts growling at him,    :o  she thought he was hurting me    :P

By the way Yasmeena that dog must have more in her than just husky and lab mix to be 185 pounds as even the biggest huskys are only like like 70 to maybe 90  and labs I have see 100 and 110. But 185  ???      :o
Godzilia must be her nickname   :D

;D I have a couple dogs that would beg to differ with you.
They would tell you I was not very kind hearted.  ;D

When my husband and I first married we had this huge choc (brown) lab that must of been about 100 to 110 I am not joking. He was huge and all muscle.
He had been over to the neighbors harrassing their chickens like 4 times.
One night, the fifth time, it was 10 at night and we could hear our neighbors chickens making an awful noise. We called Tank (his name) and when he finally came home I was so angry at him I took both my hands and grabbed the skin around his neck and head  and lifted him up to my face level.   :o
(I am not superwoman but as a farm girl I can lift bales of hay and hold my own) I couldn't quite get him off the ground, but his back feet were barely touching the ground     >:(
I was so mad at him I shook him and screamed at him for going after  the neighbors chickens.
He never went back and bothered those chickens again.   ;)

May sound mean but where I live they shoot dogs for bothering livestock. I may of saved his life. But I bet the poor dog thought I was going to kill him.

Funny part....... :-/   The look on my new husbands face watching his wife so angry she lifted a 100 lb dog almost totally off the ground.    :o
When I flung the dog down my husband just looked at the poor dog and said to it.
"Well I guess you really ticked her off this time"    :D
