Wrong Number?? :( |

Salam Alaykum, I just bought a cellphone for myself, and I was hoping that somebody on the board could offer me some advice. Actually, there was no point in having a normal landline because I practically live at my college, so I subscribed to one of the T-Mobile services ($39.99plan). But much to my dismay, whenever anybody tries calling me, when I am working in the computers lab, they always get an 'out of coverage' message. I more often than not get no reception in my classes either. :( Also, the phone that I bought (Motorola C332 http://www.freecellphonesguy.com/freecellphonesguy-tmobile-motorola-c332.cfm) has a hopelessly bad battery. It loses its charge in just a little over two hours, without me using it much. :( Am pretty disappointed with the deal. Just wanted to know if anyone else is experiencing the same problems with the service or the phone. or is it just me. I could return it before the 14day trial period. Any advice or suggestions as to which service I could get. I know Sprint phones have amazing receptions and those, me thinx those are the only ones that actually ring in the computers lab. But I am apprehensive about buying them. JazakAllah Khayr Peace. |

If it is less than 14 days RETURN IT QUICK if you are already having coverage problems and a bad battery not holding a charge. When you try the next company make sure you have a trial period so you don't get stuck with a $200 to $300 disconnect fee or are locked into a years contract. I have a cell phone and it is a good thing I have never needed it for an emergancy. The two times I really needed it quite badly I was in a no coverage area, yet when I am just chatting with someone it sure works (have the bill to prove it :( ) Once I was looking for a ranch to look at stallions to bred a mare of mine. Couldn't find the place and had to drive over 15 miles into a town to use a phone, cell didn't work. :'( Second time I was in the back woods looking for a person who sold hay and again i had to drive back into town to call. Those were the only two times I really needed the cell and both times it did not work. :( |
