| [slm] folks in cyber space hangout spot!!! I live in NYC and have often wondered if any New York State air is reallyyyyyyy clean. I've been upstate (for ny'ers) yes I've been past Westchester county;-)..and haven't really found any really cool spot to go to. I'm a nature person and love to nature hike etc...but how clean is the air up there..say in the adirondacs or more north..as compared to nyc? I guess why I'm asking this question is because when I go to work each day I'm breathing in car fumes, truck exhaust fumes, dog poo and urine smells( the upper east side is NOT clean), vent emissions from buildings and restaurants, pot holes, the SUBWAY ...man must I go on...... I just don't want to breath sometimes! I think this e-mail has turned into a 'venting' spot for me so now I end. Thanks for reading if you made it this far! | [slm] me having lived in upstate new york most of my life i know a thing or too about clean air...and i can tell you that nyc isnt it...my mom and dad say that like the whole city in a bubble surrounded by toxic gases not air....haha ok maybe im exaggereating a bit but you get the idea but yeah in the adironcks the air is real cleen up there ...so much so that you can smelll the difference ...its like going from smelling exhaust all day long to smelling the treees,grass,flowers etc... the adironcks and even farther up north have some pretty camping sites...i only know this becasue my dad is a camping fanatic and shows me pictures.....im not what you call a "nature" girl haha well i hope i helped [wlm] |

| [slm] LOL I've met peopel from New York who come to Colorado and are surprised at the clarity and brightness of the stars. :) Ameera |
