| [slm] well I've never posted a poem here before, but I just wrote this last night in my diary, and thought I'd copy it here... tell me what you think.. [center][img]http://cache.gettyimages.com/thumb/887506-001.jpg?x=x&a=887506-001&b=TSI&t=1[/img][/center] [center] I'd like to see the beauty of you, of me, of life, I'd like to look at our sorrows and see within, hope lies I don't need any complaints they won't lift me from the ground I need my soul to fly free so I can hear the angelic sounds the sound of love and laughter then grab the hands of innocense holding on to the righteous threads and casting off the mask of nonsense so I shall bow down and pray Ya Allah, please help this weak soul fill it with the purity and wisdom I need help me see the beauty to become whole [/center] yeah, that's it wassalam :) ps. how do you post a pic? I tried the img tag, but it didn't work *updated* |

I had no idea how to place a picture so I've played here to figure it out to see if I could help ??? [center] [img]http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/NYG/30224_a.jpg[/img] [img]http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/NYG/30219_a.jpg[/img] [img]http://imagecache2.allposters.com/images/MCG/W692_a.jpg[/img][/center] Hmm.... ok I've figured out something new...(woohoo)... the " img" link seemed to work here...... click on it then replace the "URL" with the actual url address of the picture you are wanting. hmm..... lets see.... if you have a picture.... if you right click on the picture & then go down to properties it will give you the url address for just the picture..... you can copy & paste where the "URL" is in the "img" link one thing that made it not work.... was if the images were too close together...... or if there were too many spaces. If you just want to do it by hand it would be [ img ] then your url address of the pic then [ /img ] ........ ((just make sure that you do not leave spaces between the brackets though)) hey... I'm happy I figured it out now... was waiting on a reply for the easy way.... but it didn't happen so ;) :-* smile....maybe we can get you to post another poem to try it out again ?? .... What if we had our own picture.. not web based... then how would you attach it ?? or is it even possible ??? | [slm] thank you simply_sister... hmm, I'm pretty sure that's what I did last time, maybe there was something wrong with my url I was using [img]http://cache.gettyimages.com/thumb/bot53226.jpg?x=x&a=bot53226&b=BOT&t=1[/img] and if your picture is not web-based, I don't think you can post it. You have to upload it to a server somewhere. Maybe you can start a topic asking if any brothers and sisters know a good sever, if you ever do want to post a pic :) wassalam |

I'll have to see about that if I get inspired to share a photo I have. ;) let me know if you ever try it. Don't you really like it here @ Madina.. oh I do..
