| [slm] I was told that the procedure when u start using the board is to introduce yourself ... and then people offer u bebzis (or something) and u become a part of the Madinah .. Unfortunately i didn't know this and have already posted .. :-[.. pls forgive me .. SOOO.. better late than never .. My name is Mohamed.. i am from Ottawa, Canada and i attend Ottawa University .. I recently attended (and regret leaving :'() the retreat with Skh. Mokhtar.. well i hope that fulfills the "procedure" [wlm] MS p.s. for those of you who dont know .. us Canadaians always say "eh" ;D |

| [wlm] ahlaaaaaaaaan akhi... we still haven't heard any reflections from anyone at the retreat.. i think everyone's still in mourning?? not sure about all u canadians joining up... we might start saying haus instead of house and adding eh to all our posts..;) but that's ok, eh? ;D |

| [slm] Hope ur doing well insha'Allaah, and that u stick around here longer than u did at the retreat ;). Btw, every1 else is either being too lazy (using the post retreat depression/blues excuse) or have now entered another sphere in space that we cant access, as we didnt go to the retreat, and so no longer see any point in sharing anything with us at the mo, as we've just been reduced to mere commoners now. So would u be so kind as to give a quick lowdown on ur views on the retreat? ;). If the post retreat syndrome isn't an excuse, then I feel really left out that I cant be a part of this high that you're all on :( wa'salaam |

| [slm] I thought I'd intervene...and stick up for the Canadiaj side of myself. Obviously, the Canadians can vouch for the fact that this is NOT MINE. ~~ Hey.. I'm not a lumberjack, or a furtrader, and I don't live in an igloo, eat blubber, or own a dogsled. And I don't know Jimmy, Sally, or Susie from Canada, although I'm sure they're really really nice.
