Bleeding Merciless

I can’t sleep
For the noise that leaves me lying awake
All night and all day
Comes from the torments of emotions
That runs wild in my blood
From the holes in my homes
From the color red I see around me
From the hate that surrounds me

I can’t eat
For the only thing that I hunger for
All night and all day
Comes from the taste of freedom
That craves in my blood
From the holes in my homes
From the color red I see around me
From the hate that surrounds me

I can’t hear
For the sounds that I want playing
All night and all day
Comes from the silence blocked in my ears
That rings in my blood
From the holes in my homes
From the color red I see around me
From the hate that surrounds me

I can’t feel
For the touch that I long for
All night and all day
Comes from the useless heart
That pounds in my blood
From the holes in my homes
From the color red I see around me
From the hate that surrounds me

I can’t see
For the eyes that daze into the world
All night and all day
Comes from the blindness of hysteria
That darkens in my blood
From the holes in my homes
From the color red I see around me
From the hate that surrounds me

I can’t think
For the thoughts that travel mindlessly
All night and all day
Comes from the ignorance of others
That stresses in my blood
From the holes in my homes
From the color red I see around me
From the hate that surrounds me

I can’t fight
For the courage that exists in bravery
All night and all day
Comes from ill hearted destroyers
That angers in my blood
From the holes in my homes
From the color red I see around me
From the hate that surrounds me

I’m losing my senses
All day and all night
I’m bleeding merciless

Have You Forgotten

It’s sickening to see you throw pizza away
While the children of the world still sleeps starving
It’s unnerving to find that you go about your day
While the women of the world still softly cries from bruises
It’s disturbing to listen to the words of justice you say
While the dictators of the world lead about their greed
It’s tormenting to know that you go on your merry way
While the dangerous men of the world roam free to murder anyone they please
It’s devastating to watch you breathe the air you make
While the world recycles the pollution of death

Have you forgotten that those children are your own
Have you forgotten that those women are your own
Have you forgotten that those dictators could one day lead you
Have you forgotten that those dangerous men could be you
Have you forgotten that the world is your own

Does It Matter?

Does it matter that my skin color is brown, black, or white?
I prefer caramel, chocolate, and vanilla.

Does it matter that my eyes are almond shaped?
I prefer to see the world as nuts.

Does it matter that my nose is big?
I prefer to smell the flowers.

Does it matter that my body is small?
I prefer looking up and not down on people.

Does it matter that I speak differently?
I prefer different voices provides other better choices.

Does it matter that I'm female?
I prefer "two halves make a whole".

Does it matter that my flag is red, white, and blue?
I prefer that it is easier for you to find me.

Does it matter that my ancestors worshipped idols?
I prefer the only toys available were dolls made of sticks and stones.

Does it matter that I worship God?
I prefer the only faith I have left.

Does it matter?
No, it does not matter.
We're all human.
We all bleed blood.

Now let me tell you what does matter.
We do.

We matter to the children.
The children will cease to survive without us.

We matter to the world.
The world will cease to exist without us.

We matter to the future.
The future will not become without us.

Does it matter?  No.
What does matter?  Us.

Subhana Allah :(
did you write these pieces?

May Allah increase you in eloquence, expand the horizons of your heart, and cherish your soul for the day you Meet Him and this fleeting madness will be no more than a dream...a nightmare...forgotten and erased from the vicissitudes of our being.

take care...

sis,

Yes.  I did write them.  The reason why is because I have been shown the way.  I used to be naive and gullable, beleiving that everything is all good.  People are all good.  That's wrong.  People take advantage of everyday life, enjoying and wanting this dunya so badly that they no longer care for each other or Allah.  They go about their day not thinking about Jannah or Jahanum forgetting about the hungry children, Palestine, Bosnia, and the rest of the Mulsim ummah that is need of their help.

We are tested everyday, but does anyone know that?

Thanks for your du'a (it is muchly appreciated sincerely) but you should include the rest of the world in it.

Allahu Alim....

You take good care too.

Ma-aslaama...
