| [slm] Why? and am really curious to know that how old you brothers are. Recently i came to know that a brother who i thought of to be 30 or something, turned out to be just 21 !!! In here we've got few ladies in their 40s (Kathy, Azizah), atleast one in 50s (undisclosed newbie) and i wonder why dont elderly bros in 40s join here !! or may be we already have them in bro Hanif and bro Arshad ;) okay now, GIVE ME YOUR AGE Asim Zafar :) |

| Why does number should matter at all? It does not indicate anything at all. Maturity can be achieved through various ways in a person's life and one can be immature thoughout his 90 yrs of living. Isn't it mentioned abt the only thing that matters to God is our Taqwa and our deeds? Why not change our perspective too when we look at a person. See beyond his/her religion, race, colour, age, and gender (and anything else that generalize people into one group). Once we have some sort of filtering process, the information sharing and exchanging of ideas wouldn't be smooth anymore. |

I should've known better abt posting .*mumble:should've just lurked you silly, woman!* Also, because I rarely posted, I tend to dump all my views into one post but it is related to many other threads. Anyways, issues/subjects that may seem frivolous,funny, and simple to us, might not be all that to other people. Let's take this subject, for example. Even I thought this is such an issueless issue until I realized that I was being insensitive towards people who had to struggle with this issue- age discrimination from a government, employer and society. |

| [slm] ;-) What you have been told is true Usman and you should also know why. A mans wage is obvious from how happy his wife is, A womans age is obvious from how happy her man is. |

| [slm], A little while back someone asked me if my Dad was my older brother!!! He does not have a single grey hair, just some in his beard starting to turn grey a little while back. My grandmother doesn't have many grey hairs either. But I already do! Didn't I read somewhere that Prophet Muhammad used to look very young and handsome even when he was in his 50s? |
