Just a thought, maybe you can recite verses from the Quran that the Prophet (PBUH) used to recite after nikah for advice.

Jazakallah khair brother Ahmed.

I thought of that as well....1verse that I think may be appropriate is :

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

Any others that any 1 can think about?

I wanted to use a poem in addition to the verses but if i can't get any ....  :(
(ahhh ..where is Jaihoon when u need him )

Wassalamu alikum

As Salaam'Alaikum

I have a sister friend who writes original poetry... When do you need the poem?  Perhaps I could pursuade her to write something special...her poems are all Islamically correct and beautiful...Is there a specifi focus you would like..an interest of both sister and brother...something special that they share?

Let me know..I can't promise but i sure will ask.

He it is Who created you from a single soul, and of the same did He make his spouse, that he might find comfort in her.  (Quran 7:189)

Woman shall have rights similar to the rights upon them; according to what is equitable and just, and men have a degree of advantage over them (Qur'an 2:216)
