Looking for a Play

Salam,

I am looking for a story or a play that Muslim children ages 8-11 can act. It must have roles that girls and boys can act. And if possible some comedy would be ideal. I have some stories but the characters are predominately male. I  thought I would ask here in case any one can suggest something better.

There's a book called the Caravan for Muslim Children that has plays for kids and stuff. Maybe you can get ahold of it...

Why not try the movie "The Last Prophet" where there are plenty of scenes which  u can enact for both  ;-)  &  :-)

I had written a review for the movie @ http://www.jaihoon.com/egoptics/review.htm

hope that helps  :)

Salam,

JAK for your suggestions, but I'm afraid the book and movie are not easily accessible. I couldn't even find The Caravan for Muslim Children  on the internet.

I had already read your review when you first posted it here ^_^. I have been waiting for The Last Prophet to be  released in North America for a while. How can I get a copy of the movie? Even if I can't have them act out scenes from the movie, I really want  these kids to watch it.

I think I might just have to make do with the stories I've got and just change the gender of some of the male characters.

JAK again,
salam,
