| Assalamo elikuim What does it mean when the directions say make a mixture of something ? Does it mean that we add water also ? Me and my boys were making something from a craft book and it said "make a mixture of baking powder and salt and then pour over..", but in ingredients it didnt say water. My older son said that since it doesnt say water we shouldnt add, I (the voice of wisdom & authority :) ) said that mixture means water and have added it. I dont know if it was right or wrong , we will have to wait a week to see the result but in the meantime please let me know I was right :) Wasalam tq |

| [slm] yah i think the mixture was the salt and baking powder mixed together. I think your son is right...it would have said to add water if it wanted you to. It would have said a mixture of salt, baking powder and water. all the best your sis |
