Asalaamu Alaikum Our Br Hanif [Madina Wrestler] wanted me to convey to you the news that his father passed away yesterday. Alhamdulillah the funeral has already been performed. May Allah grant him repose in his grave and grant him Jannah without reckoning on the Day of Judgement.

Wa'alaikum Assalam wa rahmatullah,             Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'oon. May Allah grant him jannah and grant sabr to bro. Hanif's family (Ameen). Few aayahs from Qur'an as a reminder for the rest of us. How disbelieve ye in Allah when ye were dead and He gave life to you! Then He will give you death, then life again, and then unto Him ye will return. (2:28 Every soul will taste of death. And ye will be paid on the Day of Resurrection only that which ye have fairly earned. Whoso is removed from the Fire and is made to enter paradise, he indeed is triumphant. The life of this world is but comfort of illusion. (3:185) Wheresoever ye may be, death will overtake you, even though ye were in lofty towers. Yet if a happy thing befalleth them they say: This is from Allah; and if an evil thing befalleth them they say: This is of thy doing (O Muhammad). Say (unto them): All is from Allah. What is amiss with these people that they come not nigh to understand a happening? (4:78 Say (O Muhammad): O mankind! Lo! I am the messenger of Allah to you all - (the messenger of) Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth. There is no Allah save Him. He quickeneth and He giveth death. So believe in Allah and His messenger, the Prophet who can neither read nor write, who believeth in Allah and in His Words, and follow him that haply ye may be led aright. (7:158 Every soul must taste of death, and We try you with evil and with good, for ordeal. And unto Us ye will be returned. (21:35) Every soul will taste of death. Then unto Us ye will be returned. (29:57) Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Lo! the death from which ye shrink will surely meet you, and afterward ye will be returned unto the Knower of the Invisible and the Visible, and He will tell you what ye used to do (62:8 Wassalam.

Don't see this as a loss brother for indeed returning to our Creator is our soul resting in it's final abode.  So, make du'a that Allah has Provided for your father a final restinf place that is adorned with all the blessings of Allah's beloved..... Salaams, I'd just like to say to everyone thanks for all the messages/emails of support. Death is truly unique and something that we will all experience, no escaping from it. So many times we think that we are going to live to a grand age of 80/90 or evenmore yet really we are fooling ourselves. There is no gurantee that you will even reach the end of this message, if you do how about the next hour, day or year ?. Yet day in day out how do we remember Allah and how much have we prepared for the hearafter, we alone need to question our hearts as we too will be placed in the grave very soon. In fact if you think about it 100 years from now you'll hardly know anyone on this board who is alive. I'd appreciate if you could all pray Suray Yasin once for me dad. Salaams, Hanif
