My dream will surely come true, Although much pain I shall pass thru. What a crazy heart have You given me That it cannot separate a friend from an enemy! The rain is no more, Neither is left any joy in the garden The Rose has fell to the ground, Everywhere is silence like in a grave The land is barren, the sky is dry Ah! Why is the Nightingale still not convinced- The Spring is over, for ever! O Allah! I trusted You, And still do! You are my only Merciful refuge Everyone else has seen me with rage! They can only see my worldly fault And not the beauty of my spiritual heart. I trusted You with every bead I read I trusted You with every breath in Your Fear I took I trusted You with every small deed I trusted You with tear I shed I trusted You when in secret I cried I trusted You whenever I looked at the skies I trusted You whenever I closed them when in prayer I trusted You with my lines of rhyme and melody I trusted You when Your Beloved I tirelessly greeted I trusted You with all my trust Although I myself is not worth of any faith I trusted You with all your Beautiful Names Allah! I still hold You most dear than any Ah!
