| [slm] I recently got the following e-mail .. :-X From: "Juan" <ladotx@yahoo.com> Subject: Help: Finding Latina Muslim activists Assalaam alaaiykum, Elizabeth (Betita) Martinez is the director of the Institute for MultiRacial Justice in San Francisco and an author of 6 books on struggles for social justice in Las Americas, and a longtime activist including today's work against the U.S. war abroad and in this country. Currently she is preparing a new book 500 YEARS OF CHICANA WOMEN'S HISTORY. For her book, she is interested in learning about Mexican America Muslim women. She would like to know if how active they are in U.S. whether against the administration's anti-Islamic policies or in any other way.
