I have been reading several posts like Difference of opinion and other and I gotta say. You mods have it tough   :o   Seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I mean you have to be the big Bro's and Big Sistas The counselors, the babysitters, the referees, the good guys and the bad guys, the friend and the foe.    ::)      :P    uffffffffffffffffffffff As a citizen of the Medina Boards with your permission I would like to declare this       :-*   :-*  APPRECIATE THE MODS WEEK    :-*    :-* This is a wonderful site and we owe you all for your time and efforts. May Allah bless and reward you for all your caring and hard work. I invite the my fellow citizens to show their appreciation and support and post some kind words to our Mods. As for me, from the bottom of my heart thank you so much for you time, effort, patience and such. Being part of this board is an honor and a privilage and I have learned so much. You mods have been there through all my questions   :) my problems   ::) and even my little temper   >:(  tantrums   Your efforts and work have helped me grow as a person.

[wlm] thanx azizah i think most ppl think of us as annoying police censorers that don't let them say what they want etc... it's hard to appreciate when they don't have the background of what's going on and why and esp if u've never been put in that position.. but thanx for tryin to get ppl to appreciate it anyway :)

I truly have appreciated your site Jannah... the fact that you have allowed all of us to come together, learn, share, & grow, together has been something I've been thankful for.  There are some truly great brothers & sisters here. Something I learned in marketing quite a few years back. "like attracts like".... this must say something.  People have a tendency to migrate & group together in environments they are most similar & comfortable with.... We appear to be very diverse here while we all seem to hold the same essence within..... that makes me smile.... Masha' Allah. Something I've really enjoyed is your diversity in mods... [slm] You are right sister Aziza (I hope you don't have any personal reason to do so ....;)) Well honestly speaking they are really doing good job since I know many boards and discussion groups were deserted due to frequent and consistant dirty, hate and humiliated messages and posts. The other extreme was what jannah.org also adopted some time back that don't let people post directly all the posts have to go through censor and if passed then posted on the board. That was annoying practise and how we got rid of that practice is by introducing moderators. So big responsibility and great job. I hope they are being paid well so we can keep on enjoying their company ??? ...........;)

Wonderful idea! My special, special thanks to Jannah for keeping me as member even after I requested to be revomed completely.  I was suprised to find that my name was still there hence decided to return.  Shukran Sis and May Allah Bless you. Many thanks Bhaloo for being the first Muslim Brother I got to know in the global village even before I discovered Jannah.org.  Also, a million thanks for sending me the beautiful , educative Islamic articles that you directly send to me through my e-mail addresses.  May Allah Subhanna Watallah reward you tremendously. Thank you Mohja for letting me know that Mawlid is a contentious issue on this board and you did it so kindly by IM.  Jizakallahu Khayr. We appreciate the mods for more than just a week    ::) Actually 3 of them    :P I saw this and started laughing. I just thought you all needed to know how appreciated you all are. Sometimes reading these posts, you can't seem to win for losing. You know that mommy statement "Cause I'm the Mommy thats why" We need to have one that says, Why was your post locked, CAUSE I'M THE MOD THATS WHY   :-/
