| alsalamu alaykum wa rhmat Allah wa barakatuhu :) i hope someone can help me with this...my printer isn't following directions...its frustrating....alhamdulillah 'ala kul hal....if it gets hooked up to another computer, it works, no problem..but when i click print on the computer i'm presently using, it acknowledges the job but doesn't do anything! ....i checked all the options etc...it says that the "printing job is in queue" ..whatever that means... ::) anyways...how do i make it print?....its really wasting my time :( jazakum Allahu khayran walsalamu alaykum wa rhmat Allah wa barakatuhu :) |

| [slm] Why don't you try calling tech support for the printer? If you don't want to call tech support for any reason, read on. What make and model? Does the data status light on the printer shows incoming data? Check your manual. Try another port. Turn off spooling. Try printing a test page. If the printer is compatible with other printers, try using drivers for those printers. You have to install drivers for those printers manually. Unplug the printer from the port. Uninstall the printer driver. Power down the system. Plug the printer back to port. Power up your system. Windows should recognize the printer and will ask for a driver CD or try to reuse the older one. If you have a driver CD, use it, otherwise use the existing drivers. Try printing again. Make lots of dua while doing any and all of the above. |

| alsalamu alaykum wa rhmat Allah wa barakatuhu:) jazakum Allahu khayran for your help everyone ..alhamdulillah the problem has been solved.........*someone* selected 'pause printing' on the printer settings......most likely it was me :-[ ..anyways...it was weird because i couldn't find it on the normal printer settings..i had to go somewhere else on the hard drive ..anyways..alhamdulillah thats over please make dua' that Allah ta'ala increases us all in patience 8) walsalamu alaykum wa rhmat Allah wa barakatuhu |
