| [slm] This is a spolier. Please don't proceed if you plan to see the movie. <begin> The move is about Pirates as the name suggests. I strongly think that the movie has all the shades of Luca Arts "Monkey Island" Classic. The movie beings on a good note, soon the movie just loses its way. The characters of the movie is one dimensional. Thats a big disappointment and strangley the movieis all quiet. Not much of good background score. It looks like to needs more post production work. Otherwise Jhonny Depp as Pirate Jack something is funny, but the script writers did a bad job. In not so many words : No script, No character.... Pirates of the Carribean really needs a walk down the plank! If you like pirate stories, you should probably play Monkey Island series. Highly recommended. ~Dhameer <end> |

| Salam, Hmm, I'm going to have to disagree with you. Not really into pirate movies but I really enjoyed this one. I want to see it again. It was the first time in a while I walked out of a theatre not disappointed--maybe because I didn't have any expectations going in. I thought there was lots of character; Johnny Depp did a great job with Captain Sparrow and Orlando Bloom wasn't bad too ^_^. salam, meri |

| [slm] I saw this the other day and I liked it :) I thought Johnny Depp acted the role of Jack Sparrow really well. Will have to disagree with u too :) wa'salaam |
