What are some men thinking??

I have a story to tell, (now I sound like I'm in some self help seminar!  :P ) I couldn't believe it today, I was in line at the store getting some food for the week, and this man said 'excuse me, are you a nurse?' I guess he thought I was because I was in my scrubs from work, and I told him no, I work in dental, and thought he wanted to ask me about cold medicine or something like that because somepeople do that. And I hoped that would be the end of it becasue I realy don't like men I don't know talking to me out of nowhere like that. Maybe it's wrong, but, I don't trust men, and it's from bad experiences, I don't even like men looking at me! It's so sick! But anyways, I turned back around to hopefully get the guy to leave me alone, and he keeps talking to me about nurses uniforms and the diferent colors, if I graduated so I thought maybe he was just a weird old man who wants to talk about nurses uniforms. But then he starts asking my name, where I work, my age, my sign, and then I knew something wasn't right. And Then he told me he'd give me his number, I said no that's ok, and he gives me a business card with his home, work and cell numbers on the back and says 'oh give me a call sometime maybe we can go out, I work in sales you know'! I was next in line so I paid for everything really fast and hurried out of that store, afraid he would follow me to the parking lot! And then I had parked in the shade at the end of the lot, so I was mad at myself for not parking closer. And you know what kind of business card it was? For some type of male and female escort service!  :o I was rather upset about the whole incident. It's sick, what are men like that thinking? It got me all worked up this afternoon, terrible incident... The lesson here is: don't talk to strangers, park close and especially at night time, and just beaware of what and who is around you and be safe. And some advice (which I did not follow today) given to me by a teacher, was that it's dangerous for women to go to the grocery store alone, it really doesn't matter what time of day, because the bad men/predators, what ever you want to call them, go there and wait for lone women, they may offer to help carry her groceries, or just follow them to their cars. So, please everyone, be careful out there! I hope I didn't freak anyone out, it wasn't my intention, but, please do be careful.

[slm]sister, always put yourself in Allah's protection by doing the masnoon adhkaar after fajr & maghrib prayers. these include ayatul kursi & the last three surahs.

& if you ever find yourself in an imminent danger from which you cannot see any escape, recite the aya 62 from Surah Naml. i will, inshaAllah modify this post later & copy-paste this aya. it has a history, & it was applied in 1947 my my family, & my brother also applied it a few years ago, & Allah (swt) has protected in a miraculous manner.

& if you say the astagfaar most of the time, Allah will provide you an exit from any problematic situation, & this through a means that you cannot imagine. i hope someone remembers the actual aya ot Hasith that says this.
