ATTENTION

If you are new to this thread, then be known that originally it was titled "Brother only: sisters fear Allah" and if you read the threads "Hey Brothers" and "Hey Sisters" in Ikhwans and Akwats respectively then all of it will make perfect sense :)

[slm]

Hey dont u see what the subject says! its brothers (mens) only thread so plz stay out :).
.

.
Brothers to plz scroll down

Okay first off, that thread with the same subject (for sisters) in Akhwats really gave me a hard time. Actually i often use that "10 Recent posts" link and whenever a post from that thread was there in the recent posts i had to quickly press the "Page Down" button to avoid reading the text. I'm sure all of you avoided it in your own way :). Mind sharing the feelings of your fear of Allah :P?

Secondly, hasn't this place (Ikhwans) become so lonely. Bro Arsahd says its not about quantity but quality, well if we wont discuss anything then from where will that quality come from :P and i know that its a female dominated board but i was wondering that do we only post casual stuff when its a "mixed" discussion? as I dont remember any bro only thread to depict otherwise. why is that? :P

Now let them fear Allah while we discuss stuff here :)

Salaams,

Interesting concept I'd love to post a couple of things on sexual realtions with the wife and I think a couple of problems related to it. But I feel this board is too open at times.

Who knows, if you think we can discuss it then I'll raise some topics of discussion.

:-/, This is funny. JazakAllah khairan for making me laugh brothers

This is the feeling I got from this post. Bro Nomi gets all the brothers together and whispers in their ear "keep this to yourselves huh, don't let the sisters know" Bro Hanif yelles on top of his lungs, "we are gonna talk about AHEM...."

This thread has nearly 50 views to it.  I'm pretty sure we don't have that many active men on the board.  That means some sisters are reading this.  I think it was last night where I saw one of Bro Hanif's posts in the Akhwat cafe, and I thought for sure the sisters were going to get on his case,  :D.  I'm going to check it out and see how bad the damage was/is.

Asalaamu Alaikum ;-)

From the current Madina Headlines:

Br Arshad is right, it’s a question of quality over quantity not just in the Ikhwan but all across the board.

Btw Nomi check out Article III(14) of the Constitution
PS: and plz dont come hard on me
Wouldn’t dream of it. After all we may be on the same team on Madina Survivor ;-)

Br. Khalid's right about the constitution.  We can't have such topics.

Here is what the constitution says
Article III 14
There is no way to enforce strictly brothers-only/sisters-only threads. To maintain a level of Islamic modesty these topics should be posted anonymously or refrained from on public message boards such as this where brothers and sisters interact.

:) I've got no problems with that whatsoever, its not that i had some Qs? i've got ulama around me so i can always ask them about "stuff" but there might be brothers here who dont. But its a non-issue, rules are rules ;)

What i had in mind was to discuss something, like YOUR AGE :P, sports played etc i mean like anything, but keep it brothers only :). But then there is this superb reminder by bro Khalid.

Simply can't object to that.

Actually I was going to disuss some sexual stuff with the married/engaged bros yet its an area where I feel very uncomfortable. I don't see how I could post as anonymous when I know some of you so well and how it will affect most of the bros in the coming years. There are some topics that need to be discussed yet, sisters I feel, perhaps should not read them.

Anyway...some other time.

I'd say don't even think about discussing it on this message board, since its very public. Make life easy, form a yahoo group or msn group and let only brothers be a part of it, brothers whom u know very well from this board. Nomi and bhaloo are into computers, I think they can manage it with passwords and administration stuff, strictly restricting it to brothers from this board. This way u can have ur discussions about anything u want (as long as its permissible in Islam). Just a suggestion.
I was shocked yesterday when I read the title of the thread "Brothers (men) only, sisters fear Allah" started by NOMI  :o, because the first thought that came to my mind was that maybe he is strivinsista's REAL brother  :) (Yeah, I know, I think weird sometimes  :)).

Wassalam.

The question is, I wonder which sisters will admit to visiting the thread when you had that warning Nomi.  :)
