Cause I am dealing with critters I am constantly (and I do mean constantly ::) )washing my hands. They are so dry from washing and I have tried many different moisturizers. Even putting things on (like olive oil or moisturizers) and wearing gloves to bedto give it time to help it soak in the skin. Any secret family recipies for moisturizers? |

[slm] I don't know if this will work for really dry hands, I make my own moisturiser only for my hubby to nick it... *sigh* I think he uses it on his hands I'll ask. Anyway if you want to give it a try here goes. 1 and half cup sweet almond oil half an ounce grated beeswax (you might need to pay your local apiary a visit for this) 2/3 cup distilled rose water 1/3 cup aloe vera gel melt the beeswax into the almond oil, then leave to reach room temp, once it's reached room temp, mix the rose water and aloe vera gel in a blender and slowly add the oil, blast the whole thing in a blender for about two minutes and empty into a labelled glass jar (you don't want to accidentally eat it), apply before bedtime and put gloves on like you said you do. Hope this helps. Wasalaam |
