asalaam alakum, I just wanted to let everyone know this story who is trying to get married and things do not seem to want to work out .... my friend went back home to her country and came back with such a wierd story. She is nearing her late twenties and is not married yet...she had her nikah a few years ago, but it only lasted a few weeks because she couldn't stand being in the same room as the guy... anyways, they had brought a sheikh who uses only Quran to see if one of her relatives had any magic done. her parents thought it would be a good idea to have their daughter 'checked on' also. it turns out that someone had made magic for her almost 7 years ago so as not to get married. alhamdullah they were able to break the magic spell with quran. she wanted to make sure that everyone knew this story because she has been living in torture for the last few years...her parents have been blaming her saying that she was spoiled and picky and that her not being married until now is her fault...after they found out that they felt really bad.... so anyone who is experiencing the same problem, check it out the next time you go back home. but make sure you go to someone who only uses Quran and sunnah, not to someone who deals in black magic....(hint, if they ask you for a black chicken and cow's blood...know something is wrong)... |

salaaams..... yah, my aunt had the same thing happen to her...she was married and when she got divorced, her ex-husband went to some black magic guy to make a spell on her so that shse doesn't get married...it was almost 10 years latter when she found out and they were able to counteract the spell.......... another person in our family happened to them too. her cousin proposed to her and she refused, so he made a spell so that she doesnt get married....he went on and got married and had kids and she didn't find out until she was in her 40s. she finally undid the magic and got married, but it was too late for her to have kids. anyways, the guys who did the magic spell on her ended up getting his entire arm burned because it fell in a barrel of boiling tar....ya Allah! he himself admitted that it was Allah's revenge for him doing the spell on his cousin. may Allah make us safe from the evil of people and help us from doing evil inshAllah. |

[slm] Well the only reason why I believe in black/white/red what ever color of magic it is because it's mentioned in hadith. But I think there is a limit for the harm it can make to others. But the stories which are mentioned here are really scary I am just thinking what if my ex-wife go to someone and get some magic done on me particularly when I know she did believe in such things ......... :( I think Surah Nas was revealed when someone did this on Holy Prophet [saw], isn't it enough to read Surah Nas five times a day while praying to be safe from any such thing? |

[slm] Br. Faisal, I think (but check it out with your imam) you're supposed to pray al fatiha, and the last four surahs in the quran, to dispel things like that... Wasalaam |

im only a newbie, but i was under the impression that magic cannot overcome the will of Allah ... am i mistaken? and if i am, then wouldnt that mean that Allah is not ALmighty?? just food for thought .... |

asalaam alakum, in the Quran, I can't remember which surah i think it might be surat al bakara, but i might be wrong...but it says that the two angels taught people magic that which they use to seperate a husband and wife, and they are unable to hurt anyone except with Allah's permission. Many things happen in life that are not what we want but are for the best for us, and Allah swt is able to do them with out any reasons. For example you can wake up one day and find all your teeth gone, with no reason. But Allah gives us reasons for things to happen...ie, you develop diabetes which in turn causes you to loose all your teeth. that is the same thing with magic. when someone has the power to do magic or get someone to do magic, then they are being tested in that they can do bad and whether they decide to do bad or not. Also, the person who had magic done on them is being tested. it is a hard thing to see all your friends getting married and having children while you sit there and watch. Allah tests these people to reward them for their patience inshAllah. Also, Allah is keeping something good for them in the future, that if they would have married sooner they would not have been able to obtain it. For example my aunt ended up marrying someone alot younger than her who is absolutely wonderful mashAllah. If she would have married at the age all the other girls were marrying, she would not have been able to marry him because he would have been too young for marriage. We should say, alhamdullah for everthing, and no Nothing is stronger than Allah. |
