In My Garden

This isn't very good, it's just some stuff I wrote. As is typical with me, I was writing something and it ended up quite different to what I had intended it to be.  Anyways, have a read.

In My Garden

A fountain of knowledge
Trees of wisdom
The fragerance of tranquility
The heart arousing harmony of birds in dhikr
Rocks hold firm in contemplation
Awashed by weeping rivers
Remorseful of sin
Wilted flowers blossom in the hope of mercy
Ants in their hordes
Come to another's aide
Showing true compassion
The stronger symbol of brotherhood
The fluttering wings of a butterfly
Give a glimmer of hope
For the sheltering wings of angels
The gentlest breeze
Brings promise of glad tidings
I sit beneath the weeping willow
Wanting to acquire all the knowledge the sage has to offer
But alas, it is moved beyond words to speak
Its heart breaking at the thought of all
The sins of the world
The roots of the willow run their
Deep course in the ground
Just as the marks of sin run deep into my heart
Blackened. Shrivelled. Defeated.
Abashed my heart attempts a futile leap from the darkness smothering it
And then inside
A dam is broken
The pure water cleansing my heart of sins
A cool relief
But now I am too engaged in remembering the many sins I have committed
And at last I am finally lamenting
Whimpering at the possibility
My existence was for nothing
If
I
Never enter Jannah...

I had no purpose to exist.

Subhana Allah :)

*sniff*

May Allah increase you in eloquence dear sis:) It's a beautiful piece :-*

I especially like the ending...It's true, in contemplating the concept of what success really means, and how wasted and vain our efforts will be Save for His All encompassing Rahma. May Allah include us in the realm of those who bask in His truest delight and Bliss (Amin).

Sis,
Maliha:)

Jazak Allahu Khairan For Sharing Sister
ahhh...... Masha'Allah.... My Heart Melted... Very beautiful

For me, I read your beautiful expression & these verses came to mind right away... Subhan Allah:

[hr]
[14] Is then one who is on a clear (Path) from his Lord, no better than one to whom the evil of his conduct seems pleasing, & such as follow their own lusts?

[15] (Here is) a Parable of the Garden which the righteous are promised: in it are rivers of water incorruptible; rivers of milk of which the taste never changes; rivers of wine, a joy to those who drink; & rivers of honey pure & clear. In it there are for them all kinds of fruits; & Grace from their Lord. (Can those in such Bliss) be compared to such as shall dwell forever in the Fire, & be given, to drink, boiling water, so that it cuts up their bowels (to pieces)

(Qur’an 47:14 &15)

... But now I am too engaged in remembering the many sins I have committed
And at last I am finally lamenting
Whimpering at the possibility
My existence was for nothing
If
I
Never enter Jannah...

I had no purpose to exist.
