Impressions :
-------------

The program starts by getting with what is common between muslims, Christians and the Jews. This is than expanded to include what is Islam, to the western audience. The challenges following Sept 11, is also included in the program. There is a lot of material which has been taken from archives. But the people who have been interviewed give the program the depth.

The program has an impressive number of people who were interviewed for the program. You don't realise it unless you write it down. The program takes a historical look at Islam and its impact on world history. The program also mentions the five pillars of Islam and also takes a look at the makings of the frustration leading to Sept 11. The aftermath and challanges that Islam is facing is left as a question to be seen.

Offbeat:
--------
1) The Saudi's have been shown in favourable light. In light of the "Wahabbism" and the sources found in Saudia. Taking into consideration that the modern "Jehadi" outfits have roots in the help of the then US/Saudi/Kuwati/Arab Nexus
2) Regarding Malcolm X the program mentions that his mother is part Egyptian and he came in contact with Orthodox Islam. This is quite an oddball, as I remember the "Autobiography of Malcolm X" tells that Malcolm's mother was from Carribean.
