| [slm] Yaaapppppppppppyyyyyyyy!!! I am sooo happy today! Three good news came to me!! Can you guys believe it? Wow!! I am the one who is usually posting sad news…depressing related stuff… But today it’s different!! No wonder the world is singing for me... :) So I want to share the good news with you guys… 1st of all, I got full financial aid!!! So I don’t have to get loan…I don’t know what happened…it’s a miracle…Alhumdulillah Ala’a Kullihal , Ya Rahman-ur-Rahim, Ya Allah, You are Just TOO KIND... Alhumdulillah… 2nd I got a job at my college!!! It’s an easy one too!! (Not a high pay rate though, but who cares! It’s a job!!) I am going to be student assistance at the Art Center of my college!! That’s easy, rt? Yahooooooooooooooooooo…. 3rd my teacher just visited me and told me that a hunger strike by a falsely alleged immigration violation person was a success!! He is in Hospital now…they are giving him medical care, at least that’s good for now…as for later…maybe (hopefully) he will be allowed to deport to his country (India)… ooo wait…theres one more good news (I think it’s a good news), I got invited to the Asian American Cultural Center at my college! That’s nice, isn’t it? I am an Asian and I love my Asia! Pretty cool…I will meet lots of Asians! :) I feel so good that I have ppl to share my good news with! I should do some fasting, rt? I mean Allah is being so kind to me! Thank Allah for Everything, Happiness, Sadness, and everything in between! Ameen. Ma salaama |

| [slm] Thanks you all... :) yea its nice to have good stuff hapenning...Alhumdulillah... bro timbuktu, i am really confuse about what to study! i am keep having arguments with myself..."sigh" I really do love Biology...i feel i can do someting in the field of science...but my true passion i believe relates with "Islamic studies" !! i really want to learn more about Islamic histories and history of countries such as Pakistan...Arab countries... in another word muslim countries.... theres just so much to learn about our past... but the problem is that many of my family member don't agree with my decision... their question is that what can i be in my future with a degree of islamic studies? they want me to be a doctor or somebody big...and they have good reason...i will be a big help to humanity (being a doctor)...which is a big task... and i am not sure if i can handle that!!! ...all i want is to be someone simple and want to gain wisdom..."sigh" oh well...things will be ok...i will figure out someting inshaallah... ma salaama... ps. for now i am going to major with bio and minor with islamic studies... |

| [slm] thats nice sister, both are excellent subjects. u make a niyya that u want to serve Allah (swt) with the knowledge HE gives u. & perhaps, u may be an expert in both at the same time. we have 24 hours in the day, & if u arrange ur studies, it is not difficult. when u said islamic studies, & mentioned countries, peoples, etc., it is something u can keep in touch with all the time. i at 1st thought u meant Qur'an & Hadeeth, like sis Trustworthy. i have told somewhere else, i know this girl who is a medical specialist & a scholar of islam, & is a poetess as well as writes good prose both in arabic & english; & her ambition is to go further up her medical field & in dawah work. it takas niya & commitment, & a heart that bends before Allah only. insha'Allah, u will achieve both of ur dreams, & much more besides. aameen |

| [slm] hi everybody! i missed u guys! i was away for two days...visited my Aunt house...it was nice... since i am leaving for college on the 28th everyone want me to stay at their house before i go... so i been busy visiting ppl... so i am back... :-* :) Alhumdulillah sis Wardah...good news are very rare and nice to hear. :) ma salaama |

| [slm] i am going to college tomorrow :( from tomorrow i have orientation and i have to stay there five days untill my classes begins on Sept. 2nd... 'sigh' a new phase of my life is starting...and honestly i am really really scared... :'( and don't want to leave my mommey :'( :'( :'( i am not sure if i can handle this up coming new life... please pray for me... ma salaama |
