13 ways to boost your Emaan

13 simple points whose application would boost ones Emaan high up!

the following are one of the cures that jumps ones Imaan all times high:

1) Wish for your brother what you wish for your ownself. Remember what the Prophet has said, " You wont believe[ or have faith/emaan] until you wish for your brother what you wish for your own self."

2) Make Tawakaal/reliance on Allah in all cases. As Allah says in the Quran, " And rely on Allah if you are believers."

3)Keep the trusts enjoined upon you, Remember the saying of the Prophet, "La Emaana liman La Amanata Lahu'', that person does not have faith/emaan who does not maintain trusts. The trusts of God upon us are all our organs which one should keep away from zinaa, lewdness and shirk. the trust of others upon is what the property they give us and ask us to keep that for them for a certain period of time.

4)Buliding up Modesty. This is done by staying away from Fawahish. This is done by lowering ones gaze, protecting the chastity, controlling the tongue from lewd/immoral speech, and fighting off lewd thoughts in the heart. Remember that the Prophet said that modesty is one of the branches of Imaan. And remember what the Prophet had said, "Those who guarentee to me their tongues and chastities, then i will guarentee them paradise."

5)Being good/pleasent in character with every one. Remember the saying of the prophet that good character completes ones Faith.

6) Love your fellow muslim brother for the sake of Allah. Wish him good, and enjoin him with good and forbid him from evil or what is harmful to him all for the sake of Allah

7)Carry out the task of promoting virtue and preventing vice[ Amr bil Maruf wan Nahi Anil Munkaar] Remember the highest state of Iman is that you prevent vice with your hand, followed by your tongue and the lowest state of emaan is when you see vice and you just hate it in your heart and do nothing

8)Keep aside Riyaah[ showing off in order to gain praises of others]

9) Recite the Holy Quran very often and remember death and Day of Ressurection always. For the Prophet had said, " the heart becomes rusted, in order to retain it back to its original condition one must recite the holy Quran and remember death."

10) Increase in making Dhikr for Allah says in the Quran ,"Alaa Bi Dhikrillahi Taatmainul Quloob." [ the hearts are comforted with the Remembrence of Allah]

11)Worship Allah with Ehsaan. That is you worship[like offering salah, making duaa] Allah as if you see him, but in reality He can see you but cant see him. possessing this feature is the highest state of Imaan.

12)Love Allah and His Prophet more than anything else including your own soul and family. Remember the saying of the Prophet[saw] to umar when the latter said that he loved the prophet more than anything else, the prophet then told him that now your[umar's] emaan has become complete.
By loving Allah and his prophet means that you love what Allah and his prophet loved and you hate what Allah and his prophet[saw] disliked. And to follow what Allah and his prophet commanded and to refrain from what Allah and his Prophet forbid or disassociated from.

13) Carry out all of the above and other good deeds/and Ebadaat with the intention of pleasing Allah and seeking His Face, and do them with sincerity, for according to an authentic hadeeth from the prophet a good deed will not accepted if it is not done with sincereity

I hope all of this will be helpful, and oh yes make Dua very often especially in the last quarters of the night for at that time the Duas will be accepted! Also make tawbah and repentence from your sins and seek Allah's forgiveness and mercy. True repentence which is accept by Allah is when you truely mend yourself, commit yourself in doing more good deeds and refrain from your past sins.

good luck...May Allah Help all of US... ameen summah ameen
