hehe, some of those are pretty funny but then some are actually pretty mean! The only one i had heard of was FLK (funny looking kid), maybe they're just pretty indigenous to british medicine?

I also wonder if litigation is such a huge issue over there as it is here...b/c I haven't seen anyone use acronyms like that in notes on patients. They're always super paranoid about charting everything.

One of my fellow interns Br Javed May Allah swt bless him had got into serious problems for using TLC in one of his pateints charts
but Alhamdullilah his resident had bailed him out :P
