[slm] A slow pulse, a slight movement Barely noticed. A stirring of the soul, an awakening Lethargic realisations. Momentum building, louder beat Barely contained. The Phoenix rising, ashes awashed Ready for flight. Hands cupped, heavenwards turned Lips in poetic motion. Music flows unrestrained, from the core of being Ecstacy in pools of surrender Chants in rising crescendo Conscious drunkedness, unconscious sobriety Madness and ma'rifatullah Dhikr ....dhikr...a song to the Beloved Music in my heart. ~1/9/2003
