| Assalamualaikum, How is everyone doing. I am so sad I didn't know where to go so I came here. 2 days ago someone ran my kitty over with thier car right in front of my house. He died right away. I miss him so much. I keep expecting on seeing him everywhere, but he is not here. He was the cutest little thing, and only 6 months old. Man I miss him so much. Please make dua for me and him. I know it was just an animal, but I get so attached to my pets, I can't help it. They become like family to me. There are still marks of his blood on the road, and they won't go away, even though it rained all day yesterday. I feel so sad, my poor kitty. JazakAllah Wasalaam |

| [wlm] May Allah make it easy for you. I too love cats and get very attached. It is so sad when they go, but at the same time a reminder to us that we are all temporary and Allah is not. Saying "Innaa lillaahi wa innaa ilayhi raaji'oon", is not just for people dying, it is for any tragedy that strikes us. May Allah lift the sorrow in your heart and give you better that what was taken in this world and the Hereafter. |

| [wlm] Anonymous, I've had many pets, and I get very attached too. Pets are a gift and a reminder of the beauty of Allah's creations. My canary died a slow painful death which was a torture to watch. And you're so used to taking care of them every day that when they're gone you don't know what to do with yourself. But it would make me think how difficult it must be for a parent to lose a child or loved one, and how this is a part of life. and I would just thank Allah for giving me the chance to take care of these beautiful creatures in this temporary life. |
