Salaam I will be spending most of tomorrow travaling. I need to leave my home at 11, and probabully arrive at 6pm. This means that my Zuhr prayer will be late and mixed in with Asr. Question: is it permissable to prey Zuhr at 10ish, 3 hours early, so that it won't be all jumbed up? Thanks Adam |

[slm] It's permissable to pray zuhr with asr. If u won't be able to pray zuhr on time, then it's fine to combine it with asr. So u can pray the zuhr pray with the asr prayer, when the asr prayer time comes in. You can also combine maghrib with ishaa. But u always have to pray fajr in its appointed time. The fajr prayer can never be combined with any other. Hope that helps insha'Allaah :) Wait, let me put it like this: FAJR-the prayer at tihs time can only ever be prayed at this time. ZUHR-can be prayed at the time of asr, ALONG with the asr prayer. ASR-can be prayed at the time of zuhr, ALONG with the zuhr prayer. Maghrib-can be prayed at the time of ishaa, and u still pray the ishaa prayer too. ISHAA-can be prayed at the time of maghrib, and u still pray the maghrib prayer also. No other cmbinations are allowed, ex. u cannot pray the asr prayer at the time of ishaa. The combining of prayers is only permissable if u r travelling. I don't think ur allowed to combine for any other reason other than travelling. If u r, someone pls say :) |
