| Assalaamu-alaikum How are you my name is Toronto/Ohio sista. I just moved to Ohio and I am wondering if any medina message board people live here in Columbus, Ohio. Being a city girl myself, I am getting use to these people who sound slightly southern and who have drastically different etiquette then people in Toronto, Canada. Ohio is only 6 to 7 hours away from Toronto, but it is a drastically different world. I guess it will be a new city for me to explore :) Insha'Allah it will be an adventure rather then a major disapointment (which it feels like already a disapointment, that is). I realise Canada and US are different countries and that I should have expected this however, it makes me kind of sad cus I feel like I left a beautiful safe country for something thats lesser then greater. Anyway, sis/bros can you guys cheer me up? I am feeling really down about this. To make it worse, I don't even know where the mosque is here. ma'salaama |

I don know much about Ohio, so I can't really help you out too much I don think. Are there many Muslims there? I know there can't be as many as in the TO so I guess that'll take some getting used to. | [slm] i'm from the cleveland area :) and a couple other sisters from the board are too! are you going to school down in c-bus? please feel free to private message/instant message me :) welcome to the jannah board and welcome to ohio :) Ohio is actually a pretty state and mashallah there are lot of muslims in the bigger cities like cleveland, c-bus, and cincy. although i'm sure compared to toronto, it's like another world!
