| [slm] Ok it's come to my attention that some of u ppl (ahem ahem.. bhaloo, abuhamza, cara, brohanif, justone....) don't erase ur madina messages !!! :o :o :o :o Thus accumulating so many that the inbox doesn't even open!!! So try to keep it down to 10-15 MAXIMUM. 0 is the best way to go and just answer them and delete them as you get them is the best policy.... Save numbers and emails and stuff in your addressbooks. For those who can't even get in.. send me your username and password thru email or if you can actually get to IM... and then i'll send you the madina messages you have currently via email and reset your inbox to 0... |

| My apologies, I just sent you an email actually (you must be a mind reader) asking how I can even get in to clean it out. I was saving several to read Quran verses recommended and also saving some so I could respond back again to folks on that project I have going. I have tired many times to get to it to clean it and it won't let me and I need many of those messages. Can you copy, cut and paste the first 12 to 15 and email them to me at the email addy I sent you and then maybe I can get in to clean them. I was fine till it reached over 60 ;D |

| Jannah, I have a question (but before I ask I wanted to thank you for emailing me my messages. I know you are so busy and that must of taken quite a bit of time. I know now not to let the box get that big and will do that myself like what you did if I need to save anything) Any how, I do not mean to be noisey and pry or to be inappropriate. I thought at first this should be in a private message and then I wondered hoe many other wondered the same. You have this beautiful board. SOMEONE PAYS for it? ??? The server and all. Responses to the following questions........to say NON OF YOUR BUSINESS is a perfectly acceptable answer ok ;) #1) Who is footing the bill? #2) Approx what does a site like this cost for the server? (I don't mean exactly I mean approx?) I have a native american site I visit and listen to the music while cleaning or sewing and they are a non profit org and they talk about a grand a month ( $1,000 :o ) #3) If someone has the extra $$$ and would like to contribute to the board cause they appreciate it and see it as an important thing to help keep going how can they contribute/ May Allah reward and bless you and the other admins and mods for their time, effort and compassion in helping others learn and cope and have a safe place to also have friends. I don't ever go to chat out of boredom anymore becuase I have this place to come to learn, talk and associate with wonderful people. I am so impressed I sincerely pray you all are blessed 1,000 fold for what you are doing to help and educate people. :-* |

| Hey Azizah... no prob about your messages.. i dunno how ur that popular either :P just kidding.... i can see why ur that popular ppl writing to left and right!!! i should write to you myself with my problems and get some insight ;) who is footing the bill right now is the bro who hosts the stuff... so make dua for him inshaAllah... he's asked me to pay a couple of times.. but i've told him i can't afford it. i don't get the stuff i'd really like like php and sql and email addresses etc... but at least it does the job alhamdulllah as for how much it costs... i cringe to really think about it... |

If someone wanted to send an occational $5 or $10 or $25 or $1,000 could they to pay for the servers monthly fee? I am curious and I think people should know that this board they enjoy is not free. If people can contribute by a little extra $$$ or many many dua's then so be it. Anyone else wondering the same? I'm not trying to be weird or pushing for donations, I was thinking the other day as the ********** a native American site is non profit and I know it costs them to run it. He's a bro that runs webhosts as a business. I think for now keep your money and keep giving it to charity inshaAllah until it's needed. Please don't talk about that site. They are the one's that tried to sue me! btw they are a commercial site and sell stuff so that's how they make $$ |

| Tried to sue you :o :o :o >:( Will email you, I'm curious and noisy and if that is the case they just lost a listener. I am soooooo tired of this sue happy mentality folks have now a days. Hope I was not offensive asking about who pays and what the cost are. I was just thinking about it the other day and was wondering. Sometimes we turn on our pc's and don't realize all the neat stuff we see and join in on costs someone time, energy and money. I mean look at the detail and just the awesome way this site is put together :) I think, if and when the time comes you should allow folks to be able to help if they want to. But I know you would not ask. I was just amazed how this goes on and is a terrific place to be, visit and learn. And what charities????? I don't have any I know of to contribute to so I just do things and make things for folks and do it on a more personal and private level. Charities......hummmmm .... another idea for a new thread ;) Ok matter of costs and such subject officially ended ;) |

[/quote] If you want hosting let me know. I know some good deals in the UK, and no it own't cost you the earth. Something like $50 for a person like you should be not much (I hope) If you go for a board go for Phpbb perhaps THE best board system in the world. Check out this site people, www.postnuke.com and click on the forums, now thats what I call a message board!. Open source, all the way!. You can also customise your site as well, I'm in the process of doing this but don't have the time sadly. | ohhhhhh jaaaaaaaannnnnaaaaahhhhhhh Guess who ;D yep me again. Now it won't let me remove a message I tried to remove 3 twice :( If Hanif could access 80 to 100 and I couldn't access 67 but now I cannot even remove a message when there is only 7 in the box. Me thinks there is something wrong :( |

[/quote] Bro Hanif I IMed you yesterday for the thing that we were discussing..... and now that your messages will be zapped, i'll have to punch those keys again!!! Oh well, but for accessing those messages you guys can try something that works for me i.e. when you access your inbox and if it throws back an error after a minute or two, hit the refresh button or "F5" key. It works for me! but dont ask me the logic behind it as it beats me :) Hope this helps [slm] Asim Zafar. |

| [wlm] Ok I think I cleared out a number of peoples inbox'es and sent them their messages.. ie azizah, ummwafi, brohanif, etc if you like you can change your passwords again through your profiles and try to go thru ur messages every now and then so it won't be so slow!! w'salaam wrt |
