| Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah, JazakumAllahu khair to those who sent me some good ideas for titles. MashaAllah, the members of this board always manage to help those of us "creatively challenged" individuals. We're planning to have a cultural display & buffet for one of the events, but I'm having trouble coming up w/ creative ideas. Some of the things we have in mind are Slideshow presentation (Islamic Architecture), Names in Arabic, booths representative of diff. "muslim" countries, etc. The Goal is to show that Muslims do not come from a specific country, ethnicity, etc. but we are from all walks of life. Anyone have other ideas? | as salaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah, henna is a new fashion trend so if you have a henna booth set up, I think you'd have a lot of people interested in getting it done on their hands (or other parts of their body.. so be careful about that :P) also I think you should have a booth for american muslims :) I think that will show that islam is not just a religion practiced by foreigners, but people here in the US as well. just some suggestions :) may Allah put baraka in your efforts and make them successful :-* wasalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullah |
