There are sooo many...there's the "famous" ones and there's the not-so-well-known ones (ie, local) that are good, masha'Allah, but I assume you mean the accessible ones. There's Abdul-Basit, Ayyub, Al-Efaasi, Hudhayfi, Ajami, Ghamdi, Jibreel, Barrak, Shatri, Sudais, Shuraim, etc, etc, etc.

My favorite ones to listen to are Al-Efaasi, Al-Ajami, Al-Ghamdi, M. Ayyub, Jibreel, Barrak, etc (nice tarteel); favorite to memorize by is Hudhayfi (or anyone on CD-ROM that goes slowly for tajweed purposes and you can see the Arabic text they recite); most impressive lung capacity is Abdul-Basit, masha'Allah; favorite surahs I've heard so far:

-Al-Waaqi'ah by Al-Efaasi
-Yusuf by M. Barrak or Al-Efaasi
-and basically anyone that really feels/understands what they're reciting and breaks down and cries.

So it all depends. Let us know if the one you're looking for isn't on the sites above.

asalaam alakum,
try reciter.org its a program that lets you choose the 1. the surah, 2. the specific ayahs you want, 3. how many times to recite each ayah, 4. how long to wait between each ayah, 5. and how many times to recite what you choose....excellent way to memorize mashAllah....

i just don't know who recites....
